Brussels, 29 October 2007 - Handicap International calls upon all European States, gathering for a regional conference on cluster munitions in Brussels tomorrow, to join the Oslo process for an effective and urgent ban on cluster munitions. “Only a strong treaty can put an end to cluster bombs”, says Handicap International. Cluster munitions are weapons that can disperse up to several hundreds of smaller submunitions.
